GPP Street Team Crusade no. 19
I have been waiting anciously for a "hot tip tool" to arrive, so I could get into cutting stencils, without ruining my fingers cutting with a scalpel. Now it is here... and before I have even tested it out, I remembered this little card, that I made for my aunt in Canada. I cut a stencil for the body and stamped ink through it. And added the details drawing with a pen or stamping with tiny scraps of rubber (wings, tail, eye and beak). So it really is a conglomerate of GGP Street Team challenge no. 18 and 19. With that I hope to amuse your eye, while I go and try out my new tool! YAY!

Ooooh Maj! What a lovely card! Love reading that it was composed from your own stencil and stamps. A totally original piece made from your own tools. Just precious. Can't wait to see what you do with your stencil burner!

That is an unbelievably sweet image - it looks so simple and yet when you read about the levels of elements, you appreciate that it is actually complex. completely charming!

Did you cut out the breast part or did you just not color it? love how it looks, I need to try that with my bird stencil too! :-)
your card is very very charming!

Hi Hanna, since I was colouring with stamp pads through the stencil, I was able to apply more or less pressure to the stamp pad and hold it at an angle, like when I wanted to leave the breast free of colur. It is hard to see on the picture, but I also used a slightly darker colour at the back of the bird.

LOVELY card w/stencil and stamp, handmade, of course! Your banner is awesome, by the way, I think perhaps I know who might have made it for you?!? Love the colors you chose to use, and the Maj circle stamp is WAY cool! Everything looks so professional... :D
